![]() ![]() At the moment it's a 7 or 7.5/10 but that can change either way depending where it goes from here.īaldurs Gate 3: Incredible. Nice cutscenes too but I don't care about the story and it's basically make a bond, kill the boss, move to the next map, so ultimately it's level based design for a Sekiro-like. There is a lot of copy/paste with the regular enemies which lowers it down for me and game is easy because of that but once you get to certain bosses, the difficulty can change wildly based on how many NPCs take part in the boss arena with it but regardless I really feel the bosses are the highlight of the game. 8/10 Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty (PS5) - I'm enjoying this a lot more than I would expect seeing impressions online, I enjoyed the demo a lot so figured if it was more of that I would like it and I do. Some cool puzzles in there as well utilising the Wiimote and some really nice chill ambient music too. There is a lot of slowness to this game though, so it won't be for everyone but for CiNG fans who haven't played it yet, it's great. One of the revelations in the final third of the game almost made me cry. Much better than the first Another Code/Trace Memory game, which was really short and forgettable, everything here feels really fleshed out and feels like an evolution of CiNG's other prior games in a lot of ways. 8/10 Another Code R (Wii) - a really good Adventure game from CiNG, a really slow burn but now the plot is really popping off big time. Great music score from Masafumi Takada once more, he doesn't miss. I even like the sidequests even though they are all moving between maps, they really add a lot to the setting and vibes. I like this cyberpunk adventure solving different kinds of mysteries which all feel like to homages to the classics like the train mystery, locked room murder mystery etc and a dour atmosphere punctuated by anime OTT silly vibes. ![]() Master Detective Archives: Rain Code (Switch) - great adventure game set in a unique world with fun mysteries and some genuinely funny characters (alongside the usual weirdo creeps you get in Kodaka's work). ![]()
